This was always my goal when I still had a voice and led Worship, and it remains a sticking point between me and churches to this day.

Just how are Psalms, and Hymns and Spiritual Songs meant to be sung?

Can you imagine David's Orchestra and Choir singing to today's meter, rhythm and even some of the lyrics?

For me Worship is expressing from the heart with abandonment one love of Jesus and exalting the Almighty. Which I find extremely hard to do with today's meter and rhythm.

Maybe I am just not young enough? Maybe I no longer have the lungs for? Maybe I was never "professional" enough?
