Romans Tells us that we are a part of Israel, grafted in to that Holy Root.

“And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;” Romans 11:17

Paul amplifies this in Galatians.

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.” Gal 6:15-16

So it would appear that Christians are included in the promise of Psalm 22:3

“ But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” Psalm 22:3

So what can it be like when El Shaddai inhabits the praise of His People?

·        Spontaneous medically verifiable healings without human intervention such as anointing with oil or laying on of hands.

·        Building shaken without earthquake.

·        Building not shaken when an earthquake.

·        Visible fire on the roof top resulting in a fire response.

·        Persons saved  and wanting instruction in righteousness seeking to be discipled.

·        Altars stained with tears of repentance.

We have the promise why aren’t we experiencing it?

A teaching from back in the 80’s may give some light. It’s found in Hosea 10:11, “ Hos 10:11  And Ephraim is as an heifer that is taught, and loveth to tread out the corn; but I passed over upon her fair neck: I will make Ephraim to ride; Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.”

We have a lot of Praise & Worship training but perhaps we are but heifers in our praise?

If Judah means Praise perhaps we are not intense enough in our awe and adoration such that it would lead us to breaking up the clods in our lives?

Another verse that may hold a key is John 4:24, “ God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”

Is the depth, focus and intensity of our Praise and Worship focus on God or on what we get from God and is it from the depths of our hearts emotionally, i.e., in spirit?

Is what we are singing the truth as matched against good doctrine and theology and when we sing it is it our truth or our we just mouthing the lyrics in song?

Are we making melody in our hearts and is that melody issuing forth from our lips?

A lot of people are upset with me because I want more out of my relationship with Jesus when I attend church, but once I tasted a and experienced that The Lord He is Good, can you blame me for being a bit discontented?

Lastly, that list above is also the marks of True Revival and will continue until man starts adding his two cents worth to it.

One more thing when the kindling of Hid people really catch Fire, that list will leave the church and be evidenced by the average untrained “fishermen” of God’s Household.

I’ve experienced most of the above in my 70+ years and I can testify of the truth of the synergistic power of a Church Family in Revival. This is not a lone ranger deal, this is many lay people given the support and authority to minister in Jesus’ stead.

Of course if you are called as one the Five Fold Ministries I expect you to walk in all the gifts and calling thereof, which I have only experienced once or twice, and that decades ago.

So please forgive my lament.
